Google Chrome is a web browser from the search giant.Google Chrome for Mac OS X Developer Release is a very early release version and does not yet have some of the functionality that a full general release version would have. Tabs display slowly when switching from one tab to the next.Uses far too much RAM memory the more tabs are used.Used to monitor users and modify advertising shown.For the 30-40 tabs that Chrome can handle, Firefox can handle 200 with zero problems on the same installed RAM. The software also opens a new memory allocation for every tab opened which when more than a few tab are left open can drain huge RAM memory and slow down a whole system. Therefore web pages visited will directly impact what adverts their AdWords and AdSense adverting networks display which can be annoying and feel invasive. Google does use the software to track actions taken by the user which is then associated with their account. Google patched the software when bugs or security holes are found so it is one of the most updated packages. ![]() It runs as a modern looking browser with extensions that can be added to extend its functionality.
